USA Board of Trustees approves phase two of stadium construction

12 November 2018

University of South Alabama's Board of Trustees voted to approve phase two of construction for the on-campus stadium. The vote comes hours before the Jaguars are set to play their 2018 homecoming game at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

This phase of construction includes the stadium bowl, press tower, athletic administration building, and utility infrastructure. The cost of this phase is more than $24 million. It would be paid for through a bond issue. This vote secured funding to finish the stadium for the 2020 football season.
