“I am honoured and excited to assume the role of Chair of the Lindsay Park Sports Society. A few years ago I participated in the drafting of the City of Calgary, Sport for Life Policy, which aims to Design and Deliver Sport Programs and Initiatives, Build Infrastructure, Allocate Amenity Use, and Support Sporting Events. I thought then, and I do so now more than ever, that MNPCSC is ideally positioned to play a key role in achieving the policy goals. I will work tirelessly to ensure the Centre delivers.”

President and CEO, Jeff Booke notes “the Society and Centre are fortunate to have Murray assume the role as Board Chair at a time of such significance for the facility. With a new strategic plan, a multi-million dollar expansion, a focus on the role the Centre can play in downtown revitalization, and the ongoing importance of physical and mental health, strong leadership is key to our success.”
