Samsung Installs High-end Signage At NBA Stadium

30 October 2018

Samsung Electronics Co. said Sunday it completed the installation of a large-sized signage at State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks of the U.S. National Basketball Association (NBA).

The South Korean tech giant said it installed a total of 21 LED signage at the stadium located in Atlanta, Georgia, which adds up to an area of 1,120 square meters, including the 360-degree screen hanging from the ceiling.

The stadium, which was first built in 1999 with a capacity of 21,000 visitors, recently went through a major renovation.

The company said the new signage will help the audience better enjoy games, claiming it will also continue to penetrate deeper into the segment.

Samsung Electronics earlier installed a massive LED screen at South Korea's Incheon SK Happy Dream Park baseball stadium in 2016.

In March of this year, the company also unveiled the country's largest LED sign, standing 81 meters wide and 20 meters tall, in the Gangnam district of Seoul.
