Circa Sports, the sports betting venture from Las Vegas casino developer Derek Stevens, has officially launched in the Illinois sports betting market, marking its fourth and largest state expansion. Circa Sports Illinois is now accessible via a mobile betting app and has unveiled a brick-and-mortar sportsbook located within the new American Place in Waukegan, in partnership with Full House Resorts, Inc.

To celebrate the launch, on October 4 at 2:30 p.m., Chicago sports legend Brian Urlacher will join the Circa Sports team. The event will include meet-and-greets with Urlacher, as well as him placing a sports bet.

Bettors in Illinois can now register, fund, and place sports wagers using the mobile Circa Sports app from anywhere within the state. Offering a low-hold model for Illinois, Circa Sports provides some of the best odds in the country and is operated by industry professionals. The betting limits are uniform for all players, whether they are beginners or experienced bettors.

Circa Sports' sportsbook at American Place offers a dedicated wagering area with betting kiosks, physical ticket windows, and digital boards displaying real-time odds. The sportsbook features 36 televisions ranging from 60" to 80" screens, allowing bettors to catch all the sports action. This sportsbook is situated in the temporary casino that Full House Resorts is operating while constructing the permanent American Place casino. Circa Sports also has plans to launch a top-tier retail sportsbook in the permanent American Place, matching the quality and scale of the casino development.

Since its inception in 2019, Circa Sports has experienced significant growth and now operates in four states. This includes four satellite books in Southern Nevada, including the world's largest sportsbook at Circa Resort & Casino; a physical book at Legends Bay Casino in Sparks, Nevada; and mobile offerings in Colorado and Iowa.

American Place is being developed as a premium gaming and entertainment destination within Waukegan's Fountain Square district. The permanent casino facility will feature approximately 1,600 slot machines, 100 table games, a state-of-the-art sportsbook, an exclusive 20-villa hotel, a 1,500-seat live entertainment venue, and a diverse range of bars and restaurants.
