A NEW virtual flyover of the Townsville CBD stadium precinct has given another insight into what the Priority Development Area will look like in coming years.

Published on YouTube by Townsville City Council, the video by Hunt Designs shows a bustling area with new buildings, car parks, green spaces and other developments including one with a swimming pool.

The North Queensland Stadium is a joint project of the State Government ($140 million), Federal Government ($100 million), and Townsville City Council, and is supported by both the National Rugby League and the North Queensland Cowboys ($10 million).
