Inter & Milan To Evaluate MetLife Stadium For Their San Siro Renovation Project

16 November 2018

Inter and Milan could take inspiration from the MetLife Stadium in New York when it comes to renovating San Siro, a report from Tuttosport suggests.

Following last week’s agreement that both clubs are to work together on the renovation of the stadium, both clubs have begun to analyse other stadiums around the globe and see where they can take San Siro.

The MetLife stadium is a multi-purpose stadium that has hosted football in the past but its primary use is for hosting American Football games.Like San Siro, the MetLife stadium is shared by two teams and in this case the New York Giants and New York Jets franchises share the 82,500 capacity ground which took $1.6 billion dollars to construct back in 2007. The stadium, like San Siro, needs its colours changed to match which team is playing at home each week too.

The report also states that the Allianz Arena, that was previously shared by Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich will be evaluated.
