The events included games, in-store experiences, mystery gift card giveaways, sweepstakes, and appearances by celebrity athletes, all contributing to the festivities surrounding the launch of House of Sport in these local communities.

DICK'S House of Sport stores span approximately 100,000+ square feet and offer customers an impressive array of products coupled with unique in-store experiences. These experiences encompass a climbing wall, multiple golf bays featuring TrackManTM simulators, and multi-sport cages designed for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer. These cages offer customers an opportunity to test products while simultaneously measuring and tracking their performance. Moreover, House of Sport stores place a strong emphasis on community integration through partnerships and events. Some locations even feature a field adjacent to the store, serving as open play space, clinic venues, league facilities, or even an ice rink during winter.

Toni Roeller, Senior Vice President of In-store Environment, Visual Merchandising, and House of Sport, commented on the success of the grand openings: "These grand openings have been a fantastic way to introduce the House of Sport store to our customers in these markets. It's exciting that the feedback from customers has been so positive, and the communities see the stores as a destination. We're equally excited about bringing House of Sport to more communities in 2024 and beyond."

DICK'S has projected its plan to open around 75 to 100 House of Sport stores by 2027. For additional details about House of Sport, please visit dicks.com/houseofsport.
