As the 10th founding partner of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, SCANA Energy joins local and national businesses in supporting the home of the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United. As the exclusive natural gas provider, SCANA Energy will provide natural gas service for the stadium and all Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United facilities.

In celebration, SCANA Energy is giving Atlanta Falcons fans and Atlanta United supporters a chance to join an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Mercedes-Benz Stadium before it is scheduled to open in 2017.

Falcons fans and Atlanta United supporters age 21 and up can visit SCANA Energy’s Facebook page on September 30 at 10 a.m. to enter for a chance to win a slot on the tour for themselves and a guest. Ten winners will be selected by October 12 and the behind-the-scenes tour will take place on October 18 at 11 a.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Tour participants will meet a Falcons player, mascot Freddie Falcon, and Falcons cheerleaders and participate in photo opportunities. They will also receive Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United merchandise.

Joining the Mercedes-Benz Stadium founding partners will deepen SCANA Energy’s long-standing partnership with the Falcons and our commitment to the Atlanta community,” said George Devlin, vice president and general manager of SCANA Energy.

Serving as the Official Natural Gas Provider of the Falcons since 2013, SCANA Energy and the Falcons also partner on the SCANA Energy Homework Center program with player, mascot, and cheerleader appearances. SCANA Energy Homework Centers provide secure, supervised environments in metro Atlanta area schools where children in grades two through five can spend time after school working on homework assignments and developing study skills.
