Cole Field House will revitalize and expand facility that helps to raise its legacy to new heights. The new Cole Field House will be a REAL-WORLD LIVING LABORATORY where innovators, scientist, clinicians, athletes and trainers converge to advance the science of sport.

Features:

The new Cole Field House will allow Maryland to stand proudly among its Big Ten colleagues, not only as a premier athletic program, but also as a national leader in the science of sport. The facility is expected to open Early 2019.

The Facility Includes:

• Full-size indoor football field
• Two outdoor football fields
• Strength and flexibility training facilities
• 40,000+ square feet of research and clinical space
• Student incubator space
• ARCHITECT: Cannon Design
• BUILDER: Gilbane Building Company

This project was developed in part through MPower, a collaboration between the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and the University of Maryland, College Park. Launched in 2012, MPower joins the complementary resources of the two institutions to boost interdisciplinary research, inspire educational programs, attract top talent, spur technology transfer and drive economic development.
