2025 Facility Openings
- WYO Sports Ranch (Casper, WY) – Opened in January, this 133,000 sq. ft. indoor sports complex features cutting-edge technology to engage youth and amateur athletes across the Rocky Mountain and Big Sky regions.
- Kentucky Sports Factory (Madisonville, KY) – With a soft opening in January and a grand opening in March, this multipurpose sports complex will serve as a hub for tournaments, local programs, and community activities.
- Woodman’s Center (Janesville, WI) – Slated for a fall 2025 opening, this venue will feature ice arenas, community spaces, and more.
- Burlington Pickleball (Burlington, NC) – A new pickleball-focused venue designed for recreational play and high-level competition.
- Davis Center, Central Park (New York, NY) – The comprehensive renovation of Central Park’s Harlem Meer will include a new recreation center, ice skating rink, swimming pool, green roof, and park amenities, reopening in 2025.
- Crossroads Sports Complex, Phase 1 (New Lenox, IL) – Opening in 2025, the first phase will feature the largest collection of synthetic turf outdoor fields in the Midwest for tournaments and local events.
- Cyclone Ballparks Expansion (Pecos, TX) – Following the success of Phase I, additional fields and features will be added to this growing facility.
- SCHEELS Sports Park at Legacy Pointe (Springfield, IL) – This complex will feature a 170,000-square-foot indoor dome and a championship field with stadium-style seating, hosting tournaments for 60 to 100 teams on weekends year-round.
- Paducah Sports Park (Paducah, KY) – A major redevelopment of Bluegrass Downs and Stuart Nelson Park, this facility will feature five high school baseball diamonds, 20 youth/fastpitch diamonds, and 10 multi-sport fields.
2025 Groundbreakings
- Destination Kings Park (Kings Park, NY) – A premier destination blending youth sports, recreation, and retail opportunities for Long Island and the surrounding region.
- City of Muscle Shoals Complex (Muscle Shoals, AL) – A $65 million sports and entertainment complex designed to boost tourism and local business while serving local families.
- Boyd County Sports Complex (Boyd County, KY) – A sports complex and convention center within a larger mixed-use entertainment district, designed to attract regional events and drive economic impact.
SFC’s managed facilities generate over $500 million in annual economic impact from more than 30 million guest visits. The 2025 projects are expected to create hundreds of jobs during construction and operations, further fueling economic growth in their respective communities.
