Skanska Received EUR 156 Million Contract for Renovation of Olympic Stadium at Helsinki

Introduction:

Skanska has been awarded the contract of EUR 156 Million to Renovate Olympic Stadium at Helsinki, Finland. Skanska to start their own farm operations during the first quarter of 2017.

This multi-purpose arena, which acts in the future as major sporting and cultural events in the scene.

The public, the event organizers and the townspeople built on 19,290 square meters of gross new space. In addition, auditoriums, field area and running tracks reformed. the stands of the stadium will be covered and the number of restaurant and toilet facilities will be doubled. The total project is the extent of the field area and the stands, including 90,000 square meters. Estimated schedule is that the renovation and renewal project will be completed during the year 2019.

The work goes on Mold in the project so much that a mold made of plywood goes to about 30 football fields. Cast concrete to turn such a significant amount that it would meet about 11 towers of the stadium, Star illustrates the immense size of the project is used.

The amendment permits the Olympic stadium in the development of a diverse international qualifying event center. The revised Olympic stadium is expected to visit each year about one million visitors in the future.
