Introduction:

Construction has begun on the new A’s Las Vegas ballpark, a $1.75 billion project set to become a landmark at the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip.

Features:

The 33,000-seat Major League stadium is being designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group and HNTB, with structural engineering by Thornton Tomasetti.

The domed stadium features split upper and lower seating bowls that offer excellent sight lines and bring spectators closer to the action. A striking long-span roof with five overlapping “pennants” is supported by 700-foot arch trusses. One of the world's largest cable-net glass façades in the outfield will provide sweeping views of the Strip.

Beyond hosting baseball games, the venue will accommodate concerts, conferences, and other major events.

The ballpark is expected to open for the 2028 Major League Baseball season.
