Pakar Seating - New Beach Soccer Stadium in Bahamas

Pakar Seating has been manufacturing its Grandstand Systems in China and Malaysia for the past 13 years. In July 2016, the company signed a contract with BAF (Bahamas Football Association) for the supply of a Beach Soccer Stadium for the coming Beach Soccer World Cup in Bahamas.

Due to the limited time, the BAF choose permanent steel grandstand rather than concrete grandstand for its new beach soccer stadium. This permanent beach soccer stadium has been erected in only 6 weeks! The steel structure has been fixed on the ground with concrete foundations to resist to the strong wind in this area.

The stadium, reminiscent of the Bahamian flag with aquamarine and yellow seats is constructed at the foot of the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge. The stadium will be able to accommodate more than 3,100 people. It is one of the first beach soccer facilities in the Caribbean at this level.

Construction on the facility will be outfitted with 3 VIP lounges, 1 VVIP lounge, 3 VIP boxes, Media and Press desks on the first floor under a 50m free-span roof. Changing room, medical room, doping room and control room were installed under the structure. Also there is a 3.20m wide tunnel to circulate below the grandstand.
