The South African Broadcasting Corporation the continent's leading public broadcaster, has launched its long-awaited OTT platform, SABC+. In partnership with Hisense, the world leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, the company will distribute the SABC+ application on the home screen of Hisense smart TVs powered by the VIDAA operating system and on mobile devices , just in time for the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on 20 November. Together, the powerful partners will offer 29 FIFA World Cup matches and the official broadcast FIFA World Cup Daily, by Hisense, for FREE.The SABC+ streaming app will offer the best of SABC, including 19 radio stations and 3 free-to-air TV channels - SABC 1, SABC 2 and SABC 3 - as well as the sports channel SABC Sports Channel and the streaming news channel of the SABC.

To celebrate this event, SABC and Hisense, official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, will also launch an exceptional competition which will allow two lucky winners and the person of their choice to enjoy an exclusive stay of 3 days at the FIFA World Cup, with tickets for the final match.
