Nike Flag Football Camps Launches New San Diego Camp for Summer

30 March 2020

The Nike Flag Football Camp at Francis Parker High School will be directed by longtime Head Coach Matt Morrison.

Coach Matt Morrison was named the head coach of the Francis Parker High School Football Program in 2017. Morrison’s Lancers have shown improvement every season. In 2017, they went 3-7, following that season with a dramatically improved 11-2 record in 2018. Morrison helped to lead the Francis Parker Lancers to the 2019 CIF Division 5 San Diego Section Title following an 8-6 overall record (4-0 in League) and the league title.

The five-day camp will offer Half Day and Full Day options with a staff of coaches and players from the Francis Parker High School team. Held at Francis Parker’s first-class facilities, Nike staff members will help each camper learn the fundamentals while assisting them in developing their skills using proper techniques. Offensive and defensive position drills along with proper stretching and warm-ups occur each day along with fun football competitions. Campers will then get to apply what they’ve learned earlier in the day and bring it to the field for exciting flag football games.

The overall goal of this camp will be for youth players, to enjoy the wonderful game of Flag Football in a fun and engaging environment, where they’ll learn new skills, make new friends and have a lot of fun. Each camper will leave camp with a smile on their face and as a better more confident athlete.
