The majestic Khalifa International Stadium is now ready to host the much-awaited football World Cup matches, according to Al Sharq newspaper.

Al Rayan and Qatar Foundation stadiums will open in 2019 while the remaining stadiums will be ready by the end of 2020," said Nasser Al Khater, assistant secretary-general of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, in a recent interview with Qatar TV channel.
