Franklin will celebrate its first home football game on its new turf field with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday.

The event starts at 5 p.m. at Trent Jackson Memorial Field.before the modified matchup W against McQuaid

Representatives from the National Football League's Buffalo Bills, who along with the Local Initiatives Support Corp. donated $200,000 toward the field's construction, will take part. The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps at Leadership Academy for Young Men and the Rochester City School District Marching Band will make presentations during the event.
