Bendigo Stadium upgrades scoreboard, Australia

24 February 2015

The Bendigo Stadium has unveiled its newest state-of-the-art scoreboards. The stadium now boasts two computerised screens as well as new surround sound system.

Stadium chief executive Jason Wallace said the new additions to the venue would enhance the experience for basketball fans.

“The original scoreboard we have had that for a number of years and it is probably on its last legs,” he said.

“It has been playing up, so we decided to invest in new scoreboards and keep things up to standards.”

Interact Us installed the new screens, with owner Travis Toms saying the scoreboards could show advertising and video highlights as well as the traditional scoreboard features.

He said people who hire the venue would also have access to the screens.

“These screens are more efficient and will be an asset for the stadium,” Toms said.

Wallace said the new screens would be up and running for the Bendigo Braves first home game on April 25.
