Prize for Best Logistical Performance: NUSSLI Wins SportBusiness Sports Event Management Award
Hüttwilen, November 13, 2008. SportBusiness Group has awarded NUSSLI the SportBusiness Sports Event Management Award 2008. The company received the award in Gold in the category of Event Overlay/Facilities for the implementation of temporary infrastructure at the Formula One Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain. "We are very proud that what we built was able to make an important contribution to the city circuit," said Daniel Cordey, Managing Director of NUSSLI. He accepted the prize at the Sports Event Management Conference on November 12 in London.

NUSSLI acquires grandstand rental business from CETA
Turin, 13 January 2009. As of 1 January 2009, NUSSLI Italia S.r.L, Turin acquires the grandstand rental business of CETA NOLEGGI SPORT. The two companies signed the agreement in Turin in December 2008.

NUSSLI is expanding it's presence in Spain
The NUSSLI Group, headquartered in Switzerland, has been represented in Barcelona, Spain, since 2005 by the branch NUSSLI España S.A. The Group is a leading international supplier of temporary constructions for events, trade fairs and exhibitions. The event business in Spain is a growth market for NUSSLI. Both new foundations are a planned, logistical step with a view to nationwide market development in Spain.

The EXPO 2010 in Shanghai will outshine all of the previously initiated World Expos: China expects no fewer than 70 million visitors, who will be able to directly experience over 240 exhibitors on a total area of 5 million square meters from May 1 - October 31.

NUSSLI concludes construction of Empire Fields Stadium in Vancouver in record time
Vancouver/Canada, June 18, 2010. NUSSLI has concluded construction of the Empire Fields temporary football and soccer stadium in Vancouver on schedule, and in time for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League to host their first home game of the 2010 CFL season this weekend. The temporary stadium located at Vancouver's Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) will serve as a provisional venue for the BC Lions this year, and for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in early 2011, during construction of a new retractable roof at BC Place.

NUSSLI constructs temporary event infrastructures for the Commonwealth Games 2010 in India
NUSSLI has been commissioned with diverse overlay services for the competitions to be held in New Delhi, India from October 3 - 14, 2010. NUSSLI is qualified for the job due to their expertise as a globally operating provider for temporary event structures for major events in the sports and cultural sectors. The event contractor signed a contract with the Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi for the planning, delivery, and installation along with the maintenance and removal of the temporary event infrastructures.

NUSSLI, a globally operating supplier of temporary event infrastructures, has received the contract for the planning and construction of the grandstand facility for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2011 and 2012.
The company signed an agreement with the general contractor Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd. The world's most famous military music festival, located in front of the Edinburgh Castle, takes place every year in August.

Red Dot Quality Seal for the German EXPO-Pavilion
The German Pavilion "balancity" at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai is winner of the red dot design award - one of the most significant and highly recognized international design competitions. It has been presented with the "red dot award: communication design" in the category event design for the implementation and construction of the EXPO motto "Better City, Better Life". The Consortium German Pavilion, comprised of Schmidhuber + Kaindl, Milla & Partner and NUSSLI, views the red dot as a sign of recognition for the superior quality in the concept and realization of "balancity".

NUSSLI receives ISEM Gold Award for Overlay Planning at 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa
The SportBusiness Group distinguishes NUSSLI with the International Sports Event Management (ISEM) Award 2010. The company receives the "Gold" Award in the category Event Overlay/Facilities for the planning of the temporary event infrastructures at all ten venues of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa. NUSSLI builds interim stadium for Fortuna Düsseldorf
NUSSLI, a global supplier of modular stadiums, was commissioned this week by the city of Düsseldorf with the construction of an interim stadium for the second-division soccer team Fortuna Düsseldorf. NUSSLI will erect the temporary stadium next to the ESPRIT arena in eight weeks building time. The last home games of the season will be played in the stadium, which can hold about 20,000 spectators.

NUSSLI completes grandstand construction for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

NUSSLI, an international provider for temporary event infrastructures, has completed the grandstand structure for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2011 two weeks ahead of the opening event. The company was tasked by Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd. with the construction of a temporary festival arena for 8,800 spectators in front of Edinburgh Castle for the world-famous military music event.
