It’s been a long wait and has caused a slight headache here and there, but the turf at Rogers Stadium is ready to go and the Temple High School football team will show it off against Haralson County in the season opener.

A delay forced the Tigers to move their first scrimmage to Central and it did not allow for much time to practice on it, but for two weeks now Scotty Ward’s club has been getting some time on its new field and is ready to kick off the 2016 campaign at 7:30 p.m. on Friday against the Rebels.
