Leeds United agree kit deal with Italian sportswear company Kappa

17 June 2015

Sky Bet Championship side Leeds have signed a five-year kit deal with Italian sports manufacturer Kappa.

The team will wear the new kit for the first time in their pre-season friendly with Harrogate Town on July 10 and chairman Massimo Cellino is delighted with the arrangement.

“We are very happy that Kappa will be working with Leeds United for the next five years,” he told the club’s official website.

“I already appreciate how hard Kappa have worked with us to get things ready for the new season in such a short space of time since they first came to Leeds.

“These are exciting times for everybody. Kappa’s kits have been iconic in Italy for a long, long time and we are hoping to recreate that here in England. I can’t wait for the fans to see the new kit.

“Kappa are a big brand and the right brand for Leeds United. We both have great histories and we are both looking to get to that next level.

“This is another important move for the club and I would like to welcome Kappa here.”
