Kansas State unveils plans for premium football seating area as part of stadium addition

27 May 2015

A new section of premium football seats is on its way to Kansas State.

Starting next season, K-State fans can purchase up to 150 tickets in Wabash Landing, a new two-tier viewing area located at the northwest corner of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Cost will range from $10,000 for nonconference games to $15,000 for Big 12 matchups.

Wabash Landing is currently under construction along with K-State’s new football complex on the north end of the stadium.

Ticket packages inside Wabash Landing include access to a catered concessions buffet with a variety of premium food items and soft drinks. Beer and wine will also be available through halftime. Groups will be required to purchase the entire space.

“As we close in on three months until the start of football season, we are excited to offer the new Wabash Landing premium area to Wildcat fans,” said Scott Garrett, associate athletic director for ticketing and fan strategies. “The space is another illustration to our commitment to the best fan experience in the Big 12 and know our fans will find it to be a very entertaining and enjoyable experience.”

Costs for next season are $10,000 for games against South Dakota and Louisiana Tech, $13,000 for Baylor, Iowa State and West Virginia, and $15,000 TCU and Oklahoma. All purchases include a $2,000 donation to K-State’s Ahearn Fund.

Initial reservations for Wabash Landing will be chosen in accordance with K-State’s priority point order for donors that join the waiting list by June 12. If available, remaining games will be made available to public groups beginning June 24.
