The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has approved financial assistance totaling Rs. 4.91 crore for renovation of the existing indoor stadium and modernisation of outdoor stadium in Dibrugarh, Assam.
 
While Rs. 4.46 lakh has been sanctioned for the work at the outdoor stadium, Rs. 45 lakh has been set apart for the indoor stadium, an official press release said.
